a social experiment.

throughout the course of this crazy journey that is my life, i interact with so many interesting and talented people. some that i've known for years. some that i've just met. i appreciate people from all walks of life. the true diversity you can experience growing up in a place like new jersey is something that a lot of people will just never experience. lately, i've been just really trying to grind out with my design work and get my name out there. and that's really working. people recognize my art. people contact me regularly to work on designs for them. it's really awesome and i am thankful for the talents i am blessed with.

but, at the same time, i've also had this desire to do something else. something, but i couldn't figure out what it was i wanted to do. but i think i've got it now. i think running feature spotlights on the people i encounter would be a good way to expose the true talent collective that surrounds me on a daily basis. i don't think i'll have any real set format. i'd like to include interviews/conversations somehow, along with other media (pictures, videos, links, etc). guess it really depends on who i'm dealing with.

anyway, i do have a lot on my plate with my full-time job and all my freelance design work, but i will be in touch with people here and there to set up some time to chat it up and get a solid little write-up. and by all means, if you want to get a spot, please don't be shy. contact me. once it gets going, i'm going to really push this thing online and possibly even do some promotion (flyers, stickers, etc) in the future depending on the response it gets.
